BIG IDEAS NEED INFRASTRUCTURE.
You have the idea. The project. The program. The work you know needs to exist. But, sometimes access to funding requires something you don't yet have: nonprofit infrastructure.
That's where CrownKeepers can help.
Through fiscal sponsorship, CrownKeepers supports artists, creatives, community builders, and aligned projects by providing access to our nonprofit infrastructure for eligible funding opportunities.
But we're more than a name on an application. Fiscal sponsorship is a partnership.
We work with people and projects whose work aligns with CrownKeepers' commitment to Art, Community, and Education—helping good ideas access resources while ensuring those resources are responsibly managed and stewarded.
HOW IT WORKS.
As a fiscal sponsor, CrownKeepers may serve as the nonprofit organization connected to an approved project or initiative for eligible charitable funding opportunities.
When funding is awarded, CrownKeepers receives and administers those funds in accordance with the terms of our fiscal sponsorship agreement and the requirements of the funder.
For this service, CrownKeepers retains a 10% administrative fee on funds received through fiscal sponsorship.
That fee supports the administrative work required to responsibly manage the relationship, including financial oversight, fund administration, documentation, reporting support, and organizational compliance.
ALIGNMENT MATTERS.
Fiscal sponsorship through CrownKeepers isn't simply about having access to a nonprofit status. It's about shared purpose.
We consider projects and initiatives that align with our mission and fall within—or meaningfully connect to—our three areas of work:
ART
Creative practice, artistic development, exhibitions, performances, storytelling, cultural experiences, and artist-centered initiatives.
COMMUNITY
Projects that strengthen connection, access, belonging, collaboration, and community participation.
EDUCATION
Workshops, learning experiences, mentorship, creative entrepreneurship, youth development, and knowledge-sharing.
Not every project will be the right fit—and that's okay. Our responsibility is to ensure the work we fiscally sponsor is aligned with CrownKeepers' charitable purpose and something we can responsibly support.
YOU DO THE WORK. WE HELP BUILD THE BRIDGE.
Fiscal sponsorship can provide emerging projects with an opportunity to pursue charitable funding without immediately creating a separate nonprofit organization.
You remain responsible for leading and executing your work. CrownKeepers provides the nonprofit infrastructure and stewardship necessary for the fiscal sponsorship relationship.
And together, we help move resources where they can make an impact.
